1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Vaultify (the "Service"), including our website and Discord bot, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
Vaultify is a peer-to-peer cryptocurrency escrow platform that facilitates secure trades between buyers and sellers. We act as a neutral third-party escrow, holding funds in secure wallets until both parties confirm the transaction is complete. Vaultify does not provide financial advice, act as a broker, or guarantee the outcome of any trade beyond our escrow obligations.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding legal agreement to use the Service. By using Vaultify, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements. Accounts created by automated methods or on behalf of a minor are not permitted.
4. Account Responsibilities
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials, including your email and linked Discord account. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use. Vaultify is not liable for losses resulting from unauthorized access to your account.
5. Escrow Process
When a deal is created, the buyer deposits cryptocurrency into a Vaultify-controlled escrow wallet. Funds are held until the buyer confirms receipt of the goods or services, at which point funds are released to the seller. If a dispute arises, Vaultify administrators will review evidence from both parties and make a resolution decision. This decision is final. Vaultify charges a service fee on each transaction as displayed before deal confirmation.
6. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to: use the Service for illegal activity including money laundering, fraud, or sanctions evasion; attempt to manipulate, exploit, or abuse the escrow system; create multiple accounts to circumvent bans or restrictions; impersonate other users or Vaultify staff; interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure; use automated tools to interact with the Service without authorization.
7. Dispute Resolution
Disputes between buyers and sellers are handled by Vaultify administrators. Both parties may submit evidence (text and files) to support their case. Administrators will review all available evidence and make a binding resolution. Vaultify reserves the right to cancel a deal and return funds to the buyer if evidence is insufficient or if fraud is suspected.
8. Warranty Claims
Some deals may include a warranty period. During this period, buyers can file warranty claims if the delivered goods or services fail to meet the agreed-upon terms. Warranty claims are subject to the same dispute resolution process. Warranty periods and terms are set at the time of deal creation and cannot be modified after the fact.
9. Account Termination
Vaultify reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these terms, fraudulent activity, or any behavior that threatens the integrity of the platform. You may delete your own account at any time through the settings page, provided you have no active deals. Account deletion anonymizes your personal data but preserves transaction history for record-keeping.
10. Limitation of Liability
Vaultify is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vaultify shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the fees you paid to Vaultify in the 12 months preceding the claim.
11. Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using Vaultify, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in the Privacy Policy.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. For significant changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify users via email or in-app notification.
